BASIC ETHICAL RULES IN MANUFACTURING, PURCHASING AND SALES
Badger Roll & Machine is dedicated to the principle of high moral, ethical and legal business conduct. This applies to all activities. In this context we shall discuss the applications in manufacturing, purchasing and sales. Manufacturing, purchasing and sales people act as an example, in many ways their conduct and behavior will be seen as an example of our organization.

It is the obligation of every employee of Badger Roll & Machine, to ensure that the customers receive the maximum quality and benefits of goods and services they purchase.
A company employee is not allowed to have any such economic / business interests with Badger Roll & Machine customers, suppliers or competitors, which might result in a conflict of interest.
Purchases of goods and services from businesses owned in whole or part by an employee, or their relatives, are prohibited, unless written approval is requested and received from the appropriate authority.
If in doubt, any potential conflict of interest should be reported to the appropriate authority immediately. Return to Top

No employee may solicit, receive or participate in any arrangement leading to the payment of money to any employee or their relatives, or to any business in which the employee has an interest, in return for procuring, maintaining or doing business with any customer or supplier.
It is recognized that in many instances sub-contractors, vendors and other suppliers may, in order to create or maintain goodwill, give gifts to Badger Roll & Machine employees, tickets for sporting and cultural events, dinners for employees and their spouses or supply to employees’ modest amounts of goods and services.
Embarrassment and potentially compromising situations can be avoided, if the frequency and values of the gifts are reasonable and the employee receiving such gifts uses common sense in judging the motive behind the gifts and is sure that he / she is under no obligation to give further business to any such supplier or to accept goods or services of inferior quality (business behavior can very from country to country – local conduct should be followed according to guidelines by appropriate authority).
Of course, it is fully accepted that normal business gifts and hospitality may be received. At the same time, it is recognized that in many instances, customers may for the same reasons, offer or give gifts to employees, In such cases, potential embarrassment can be avoided, if the employee ensures to the best of his / her ability that frequency and value of such gifts, are modest and reasonable and place him / her under no obligation to discriminate in favor of a particular customer. However, it is strictly against the policy of Badger Roll & Machine for any employee to give or offer to give gifts or services of excessive value to employees of customers or prospective customers with a view to subverting the loyalty of those employees to their companies. Every payment should be rewarded by a transaction of goods or services. Sales or purchases should ideally not be done for free options and if possible unconnected to counter-purchases or counter sales. In no case should payment be made to any other party than the Company / Persons earning the commissions, fee or reward for services or goods.
